The knife rests are handmade from recycled pewter, from old tableware (carafes, tureens, trays) melted down to give them a new life, melted down to give them a new lease of life. Once cast and cooled in the moulds, the knife rests are sculpted and decorated with wood marquetry, creating a harmonious dialogue between mineral and vegetable materials.

Care instructions
Use a soft cloth and warm soapy water or white vinegar, do not rub the wood marquetry. Pewter is a dense but not very hard metal that can be scratched or marked.
