Ceramics Ravel x Table

For the summer season, Table has teamed up with Poterie Ravel to create a brand new collection of handmade ceramics from Aubagne in the south of France. Plates, cups, jugs and bowls: everything you need for a 100% handmade bright table.

All the pieces are hand-turned by two turners in Aubagne, in the historic Ravel pottery workshops. The Table team then hand-glazed each piece in the collection individually in two colours. These are olivine green, a classic glaze and a hallmark of Ravel's traditional collections, and lilac, which we developed specially for this collection.

The Ravel Manufacture

Founded in 1837, Poterie Ravel is one of the oldest ceramic manufacturers in France. A family-run business for 5 generations, the Ravel pottery perpetuates an authentic and rare know-how, from the manufacture of the clay paste to the potter's wheel or moulder, the entire production chain is mastered on site.

10cm to 1 metre vases, tableware, pitchers, tians and other decorative terracotta items are made in the workshops of the Manufacture Ravel. RAVEL is all about the colour of the clay, the feel, the ancient know-how, the shapes and the manufacturing heritage of Provence. It is also, and above all, the name of a family who, for five generations, have perpetuated the tradition of the potter's craft in Aubagne.

The collection is on sale exclusively at Ravel from 10 to 22 June 2024 inclusive at 8 avenue des Goums, Aubagne 13400 and available on our table-table.fr website from 12 June 2024.
